“Also, producing the great Hugh Masekela’s last album titled, ‘No Borders’ is another significant highlight for me.
“Sharing the stage with smooth Jazz legends such as Jonathan Butler, Richard Bona, Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright and Salif Keita to mention but a few are highlights I’m most grateful for.”
On why he returned from South Africa after living there for over two decades, the guitarist, who has over 60 songs and seven albums, said, “I believe the right time is now. Coming home now will allow people know me better, and that is crucial because I am getting older, and I need to connect with my people. I will still be doing my bit to keep the flag of our great nation flying high around the world. However, I needed to move the office back home, so we can rebuild this great nation again. I am very optimistic . I know a lot of people have given up (on Nigeria) but I believe that with God’s intervention and our efforts, all will be well again.”
